MULTI-award winning The Red Rose Tandoori Restaurant has achieved many accolades since it first opened its doors in 2000. We are the only Indian restaurant in Basingstoke to receive the prestigious certificate of excellence from Trip Advisor. This is only awarded to the Top 10% of business listed on the world’s largest travel site. Other awards include Master Chef’s authentic cuisine prize and the Good Food Guide’s certificate of outstanding achievement. 

Our Indian & Bangladeshi family restaurant is Run by five brothers, with a difference. We are celebrating over 16 years of delighting our customers, and our simple aim has remained the same since the beginning: provide the best food and service at the right price.

Entering our acclaimed venue is akin to stepping into a luxurious world right in the heart of Buckland Parade. It’s a newly refurbished oasis, and our restaurant quite recently had to double its capacity due to demand and its popularity.

Our restaurant is stylishly decorated in red, black and white. It can accommodate any size of a party up to 80 people, in addition to providing a full takeaway service including free home delivery and 10% discount on collected orders.         

Our chef believes (one of the brothers) that the cuisine of India is as varied as its geography, climate and culture, and that any menu should reflect this. Our enviably accomplished and comprehensive menu therefore includes many traditional favourites and a popular fusion of Western and Eastern styles.

The six chef’s special platters include Nawabi Gost’s tender barbecued lamb whilst the speciality dishes feature, amongst many other highlights, Chingri Jhol’s hot king prawns and the succulent Shaslick Chop Massala.             

In addition to these, we consistently introduce original dishes which you won’t find anywhere else. Our latest innovations include fish main Maas Dilkush and the stunning chicken dishes Mozadhar, Laziz and lamb combination Amiri Bhoona.
